VINCE FOSSETT: DRUMS

The heartbeat of the group, Vince is also the member who keeps the rest of the band laughing as they break new songs. The youngest guy in the band, his influences cover several decades – ranging from the Beatles and the Stones to Dave Grohl, Levon Helm, jazz luminary Brian Blade and the guy who took Charlie Watts’ place in the Stones, Steve Jordan.

A prodigy, who picked up the sticks at age 2, he began gigging at 12 and by high school was gigging around the country at various festivals with his high school jazz band.

He played countless gigs with the other members of the band and also sat in with Conan O’Brien’s house band. He learned a lot from his father, drummer Vince Fossett Sr.

Vince has driven the beat for a number of artists including Natalie Cole, Sleepy Brown, Cherokee, N’Dambi, JD Webb and Mozella. Currently you can find Vince touring with EDM artist Zhu, Duane Betts, the son of Dickey Betts from the Allman Brothers, and Hannibal Buress.

Steve marvels how Vince can play any style and always finds the perfect vibe to wrap around the song and make it perfect.
